aCriticism of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell reintensified Wednesaday night after an Associated Press report contradicted his stance that no one in the NFL offices had seen videotape of Ray Rice knocking out his then-fiancee.
Although Goodell remains adamant that he will not resign, The Post’s Mark Maske reports, he was under serious fire. Plenty of people mentioned Goodell’s handling of the New Orleans Saints’ bounty scandal and his comment at the time that “ignorance is not a defense.”
James Harrison, who was no stranger to NFL punishments while with the Steelers, pulled no punches about Goodell.
